day off [14 Oct 2005|09:35am] [ mood | ecstatic ]     My boss was kind enough to give me today .... and the rest of my life off.  That's right, I've been displaced, redistributed, opportuinaly adjusted, outsourced, or, as the layman say, laid off!     But don't worry. your buddy sam saw it coming from a mile away.  I backed up my hard drive yesterday and had all my stuff ready to go.  I knew today was the last day (due to my awesome skillz of a detective ninja) so I rolled in late just for extra effect.     I got a job interview next week, but I'm kinda thinking of just rollin unemployment style for a little while.  It's cool because they're still going to pay me. 11 comments|post comment
