Daniel J. Leslie [01 Jul 2004|02:27am] [ mood | depressed ] [ music | Copperpot - Not Leaving ]     I got some bad news a few days ago and am just now getting a chance to write about it.  A good friend of mine, Dan, had a diving accident and broke his neck.  From what I have heard, he is paralyzed from the neck down.  The thought of such an injury makes me seriously depressed.     Dan is my business partner in our so-far unsuccesful wireless internet service provider.  He is also a good friend of my sister and many people I know back home in Colorado.  He is a seriously cool, often weird, kid.     He is up at the LDS hospotal in Salt Lake, and what really sucks is that his sister got married this weekend.  So his family is apparently in Colorado at the wedding.  Dan must feel so alone up in that hospital.  I cannot visit him where he is without family permission, and I don't know how to get ahold of his family.         Anyone who reads this and believes in prayer, please give a shout out to The Man on behalf of Dan.  post comment
